Shelby Zonghi is a professional dog groomer with a rich family history in the pet grooming business. As a third-generation pet groomer, she began working in her grandmother's salon at the age of 19 while attending college and raising a child as a single mother. Her time in the salon quickly sparked her love for pet grooming, and she decided to quit college to focus on learning the craft.
Under her grandmother's guidance, Shelby spent two years learning the ins and outs of pet grooming before gaining the confidence to groom pets on her own. Although she has already acquired years of experience, she remains dedicated to perfecting her craft every day, always looking to improve her skills.
In 2018, Shelby moved to Florida and opened her own salon, Glam Grooming, where she continues to pursue her passion for pet grooming. She is grateful to her clients who have made her career possible, and takes pride in knowing that her work has helped provide for her family. Pet grooming is not only a rewarding career for Shelby, but it has also enabled her to support herself and her family.

1. AMBITION
The absolute perfect curve. They aren’t too curved and not too straight so they make for an amazing shear to use for absolutely every coat and every breed. The size is also perfect. This is the shear id pick if I had to use only one for the rest of my grooming career. They cut like butter and my finish work has never looked better since using them.

2. BERNA
I love these because they feel and cut like a super expensive pair of shears but are affordable! They are also super ergonomic and I could scissor all day with them as they feel comfortable in my hand.

3. ROSÉ
A tiny straight PERFECT for finish work. I love them because I do a ton of small dogs who get Asian fusion inspired faces and these are great for the detail work that goes into creating that look.

4. CHARDONNAY
The perfect sized chunker! I love using them on curly coats before I go over them with a finishing shear. They cut my work time in half because they are a small but aggressive chunker. Swear they stay sharp forever.

5. BIV
My favorite chunkers for big breeds. Especially those double coats. It debulks in no time because of its size. They are designed to be used as flippers which I love so my left side of the dog can match the right. I seriously don’t know how I groomed large breeds before getting these.
