Jessica is part of Team Foxy Roxy's - get to know her below!
Jessica Parker has been a professional dog groomer since 2015. She went into this industry knowing absolutely nothing about dogs, only knowing a couple of dog breeds such as a Labrador or a Golden Retriever. She started as a bather at Corp a month before starting her grooming career. Ever since getting her hands on a Standard Poodle did she want to learn more and be the best groomer she could be for herself.
She went to her first trade show a year into her career and fell in love with the plethora of education. Since then she went every single year, meeting several grooming idols and friends along the way.
About 6 years into her career did she finally get the push from Blake Hernandez and Foxy Roxy’s to compete and she never looked back. She’s been a competitive groomer since 2021 and has won several awards! She can only thank continuing education for where she is today and encourages people to get up on that stage to compete and to continue learning! She is now on her way to become a Certified Master Groomer and showing her first Standard Poodle. If she can do it, anyone can!

Since the beginning of my grooming career I have learned with 8” curves and I’ve a plethora of them in my arsenal. I wanted to come up with a shear that had a good balance to it, not too curvy but just enough to follow all the curves of the dog no matter what size they may be!

2. SAVAGE
I legit can’t say enough about these chunkers! They do everything I need them to in a snap! They cut like butter! I struggle with trimming on the inside of legs and these cut away hair without the worry of leaving holes in the coat! Highly HIGHLY recommend!

3. DETERMINATION
I typically use straights to get rid of unnecessary hair in bulk and these are the perfect size for me to get the job done!

4. NIGHT FOX
These are AMAZING! These are the best “eraser” if you will. These fit right in the middle of aggressive and non-aggressive. If you want to get rid of bulk you can, but also you can erase any clipper lines with ease if you wanted to. Great for profile trims on small dogs such as Poms or trimming up drop coats breeds without making them choppy! Perfect shear for the scissor-over comb technique.
